Greetings!

I have decided to take 2012 as a sabbatical year, which I intend to spend pursuing other interests (chiefly, growing a miniature fruit orchard, studying old houses, and earning a living) and other art forms (including Indian woodblock printing and knitting -- a new book, “Knit Your Own Dog” has captured my interest, as has Alison Ellen’s book, “Knitting: Colour, Structure, and Design”). I may even make some quilts.

I hope to return much refreshed to katazome (Japanese stencil dyeing) a year from now. In the meantime, my gallery and other information are still viewable.
